It is made entirely of metal and designed for commercial applications in military or medical systems, in-vehicle PCs, in-vehicle systems, servers, workstations and mobile computers. Ensure optimum operating temperatures with the adjustable 40mm fan and numerous ventilation openings. Once the bracket and drive are connected, your drive is held securely in place by means of a screw integrated in the front - even in case of strong movements and vibrations.Removable CD/DVD drive bracketIf your CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive is to be replaced, then it is just as easy. Loosen the screw in the front and the spring-loaded eject lever becomes visible. If a CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive is then installed, the dust protection cover can be easily removed without tools and screws.Individual drive status LEDIndividual status LEDs for each bay allow you to have a full overview of your drives at any time. You can see which drives are currently being accessed or which bays are empty.Fan controlAn adjustable 40mm fan works together with numerous ventilation openings in the trays and the housing in order to dissipate as much heat as possible, so that your drives can be operated at an optimum temperature. The fan can be set to maximum performance (high) for labor-intensive applications with mechanical hard drives or low for operation with SSDs. The fan can also be switched off completely to put on the cooling through the housing fans.Supports holder clipsBoth SATA data and power cables with retaining clips are supported, so you don't have to worry about accidentally disconnecting cables during operation.
