BioFresh BioFresh ensures the perfect climate for keeping food fresh longer. With the temperature maintained just above 0 °C and an ideal air humidity level, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products retain their nutrients, flavour and attractive appearance for up to three times longer than in a traditional refrigerator. DuoCooling DuoCooling provides two completely separate cooling circuits for accurate and independent temperature control of the fridge and freezer. There is no air exchange between them, preventing odour transfer and stopping your food from drying out. GlassLine door interior with VarioBoxes The GlassLine door shelves feature a satin-finished safety glass base, elegantly shaped plastic edging, stainless steel trims, as well as bottle and jar. The two removable VarioBoxes are perfect for sorting and storing smaller items in a clearly visible manner. SoftSystem Doors This cushions door closure ensuring soft closing even with fully loaded door shelves. In built-in appliances the door will close automatically from an opening angle of approx. 30°. LED light column LED light columns on either side evenly illuminate the entire refrigerator interior. The lighting gradually brightens when the door is opened and a special satin finish on the light cover creates an elegant lighting ambience. Touchscreen controls The innovative touchscreen controls with digital display accurately indicates the temperature to the nearest degree and all functions can easily be selected and adjusted using the touchscreen interface. A door and temperature alarm alerts you to any irregularities, e.g. the door is left open, and a child safety function prevents any unintentional changes to the settings. FlexSystem The practical FlexSystem offers flexible, organised and easy to view storage for foods in the BioFresh and BioCool drawers. For example, fruit and vegetables can be stored separately or foods could be arranged according to their use by date. All FlexSystem components are long-lasting, easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Humidity control DrySafe/HydroSafe The humidity control plates allow the air humidity to be set individually in the BioFresh compartments. The DrySafe in the BioFresh compartment with low humidity is ideal for storing meat, fish and dairy products. Fruit and vegetables are best kept unwrapped in the BioFresh HydroSafe at a humidity level of up to 90%. FrostSafe With FrostSafe, the extra-high and removable drawers are closed all round. This means that the cold cannot dissipate so quickly when the appliance is opened. The transparent front of the compartments gives a good view of your frozen items. GlassLine interior The elegant GlassLine storage shelves are shatter-proof, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The high-quality stainless steel trims put the finishing touches to the overall design composition. The slide under half shelf option glass shelf lends itself to versatile use. PowerCooling system The high-performance PowerCooling system rapidly cools down freshly stored food and creates an even cooling temperature throughout the interior. A door contact switch turns the fan off when the door is opened.This saves valuable energy. SuperCool The automatic SuperCool function lowers the fridge temperature down to as far as +2 °C for as long as 12 hours - ideal for rapidly cooling freshly stored food. Automatic SuperFrost function This function quickly reduces the freezer temperature to -32 °C and thus creates the cold air required to preserve vital vitamins. As soon as the newly introduced food is completely frozen it reverts back to normal mode, saving electricity. Divisible glass shelf One half of the divisible glass shelf can slide underneath the other; this provides greater storage flexibility as taller containers can be readily accommodated. All the glass shelves are made from safety glass and can be inserted at different heights, as required. VarioSpace With this feature, drawers and intermediate glass shelves underneath them can be conveniently removed.
