This sleek Miele KM6322 induction hob unit combines stylish design with excellent performance. With a flat stainless steel rim and intuitive touch controls, you are in control of your cooking at all times. Ultra-efficient induction works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant; it is easily controlled and energy efficient. Due to the flat ceramic surface, they are very easy to clean. All 4 cooking zones are also equipped with an automatic warm-up function. This sets the cooking zone to the highest setting for a certain period and then automatically switches back to the cooking setting that was originally set. So you could bring a pan of water to the boil before reducing the heat to a simmer without even having to be in the kitchen. A Stop and Go function allows you to leave the hob for brief period as it will reduce the heat on all zones. A PowerFlex function consists of two zones which can be individually or combined into a single large zone to achieve TwinBooster heating capabilities of up to 7.4kW output. This provides huge benefits relating to technical advances and flexibility. A booster function will operate a zone at full power for 10/15 mins to ensure very fast heat up times. Thanks to pan size recognition , a zone will only heat up when a suitable magnetic pan is placed on it. The pan size is recognised, and heat is only generated where the pan is detected, saving energy and time. There's an LED display for each cooking zone with up to 9 power levels, and a 3-stage residual heat indicator. With child safety lock and safety cut-out protection for extra peace of mind. This hob is also con@activity enabled, allowing the hob and Miele cooker hood to communicate with each other to ensure optimum performance. Please note: If you have a heart pacemaker, do seek advice from your doctor before using an induction hob. You should also only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable. Please note: there should be a minimum height clearance of 65cm between an electric hob and the cooker hood above it.... More
