As induction heats the pan only and the surrounding hob surface stays cool to the touch, this technology is efficient and economical. Flexible cooking A bridging option enables you to link the two left-sided zones, making it possible to accommodate larger oval or rectangular pans. Both zones can be set to produce the same level of power. The larger right-side zone can accommodate large round pans and can also be reduced to a standard size zone. Precise control The cooking zones are all controlled electronically by touch-slide controls at the front of the hob, meaning you have precise temperature control and the heat levels respond instantly to the touch of a finger. The hob has a sensor that detects when the contents of a pan reaches boiling point, automatically lowers the heat and sounds a warning signal. Power boost Induction hobs also heat up faster than other types of hob, and this unit can raise the temperature very rapidly thanks to a powerful booster unit.
