Expanded Sony A7 Mark II with Zeiss 24-70mm Key Features:
Generous 35mm Full-Frame Exmor CMOS Image Sensor
Stunning high-resolution images are created through the 35mm Full-Frame 24.3-megapixel Exmor CMOS image sensor. Noise has been successfully minimised and instead, users benefit from a wide dynamic range with some outrageously gorgeous yet subtle gradations. The resulting image, be it still or moving, is true-to-life with accurate colour reproduction. This powerful system has been packed into the A7 Mark II's compact mirrorless body.
Fast Hybrid AF System
The advanced Fast Hybrid AF offers an accelerated speed response with high prediction accuracy. In fact, it offers a 30% faster response than its predecessor. The wide area coverage for tracking and autofocusing has also been expanded. Phase-detection and contrast-detection AF are utilised depending on the demands of each scene for optimised maximum AF speed that is extremely fast for a Full-Frame camera.
5-Axis Image Stabilisation
The range of expression has been exponentially furthered through the compensation for 5 different types of camera shake when recording handheld. This is true for both stills and video. Thanks to the effective 4.5-step compensation, zooming into subjects positioned at a long distance, shooting detailed close-ups, and capturing night scenes are a possibility. Camera shake blur has been successfully minimised in the Sony A7 Mark II.
Sony FE 24-70mm f4 ZA OSS Vario-Tessar Carl Zeiss T Lens
This ZEISS 35mm Full-Frame standard zoom lens has been exclusively designed for Sony compact system cameras with the Sony E-mount. It offers a constant F4 max aperture throughout the zoom range and features the ZEISS T anti-reflective coating that minimises flare and ghosting. The construction of the lens sees a circular 7-blade aperture that delivers a stunning defocus effect. The lens body is fully weather-sealed to guard against dust and moisture.
