The Sony VG-C77AM vertical control grip has been specially created for the Sony Alpha A77 / A77 Mark II / A99 Mark II digital SLT cameras. It provides a stable, balanced grip for holding camera in vertical/portrait format and a low-position shutter release button for greater shooting comfort. In addition, all the main control buttons are duplicated in a convenient position on the grip for ease of use in either shooting position. The Sony VG-C77 holds two high-capacity NP-FM500H batteries (sold separately) to provide additional power for extended shooting and displays an accurate remaining time indication of each battery via the camera screen.
